Blending European elegance with classic New England restraint, the Saltbox Sanctuary is a refined take on Hamptons coastal living. Designed by Historical Concepts and brought to life through the clean, modern sensibility of Winter McDermott Design, the home is both grounded in tradition and quietly contemporary—a study in scale, symmetry, and material richness.

Millwork Artisans was proud to provide a comprehensive custom fenestration package that supported both the architectural narrative and the crisp, light-filled interiors. Our scope spanned handcrafted hardwood elements and modern metal systems—each carefully tailored to its setting.

Our scope included:

• Sipo Mahogany Double-Hung and Casement Windows
  These operable wood units were crafted with historically inspired proportions, with divided lite detailing, and a rich, natural finish. They bring warmth and authenticity to the home’s envelope while meeting modern performance standards.
• Sipo French and Lift-and-Slide Doors
  Traditional French doors provide rhythm and verticality throughout the formal spaces, while large-scale lift-and-slide doors connect the gym area to terraces and gardens. Flush tracks allow seamless transitions between interior and exterior.
• Thermally Broken Stainless Steel Windows and Doors
  To complement the home’s more contemporary zones, we provided and installed custom stainless steel fenestration. These units deliver expansive glass, narrow sightlines, and long-term durability in a salt-air environment—without compromising energy efficiency.

From the handcrafted Sipo profiles to the crisp, black stainless steel frames, every element was engineered and installed with exacting precision. The result is a sophisticated and enduring residence—where architectural heritage and modern minimalism exist in perfect balance.
